The types of homes that the we have selected for our Sterling Hills Estates development will be affordable, quality, green, single family homes. The plat will be developed using green “low impact” development techniques to provide a relaxed, serene, and country-like setting nestled among groves of tall evergreen trees. The “low impact” development techniques are an environmentally friendly way to develop property, purify storm water, recharge local aquifers and prevent excess runoff from entering neighboring properties. This will provide a sense of warmth and intimacy to each individual homeowner, while retaining a sense of neighborhood and community while also protecting the environment. This will be in stark contrast to the typical austere looking homes and barren tract housing neighborhoods that have been offered by other builders around Kitsap County.
